I love trying new things make-up products.

It truly excites me to go into Sephora, spend way too much money, and go home and try on all of the stuff I got, with no where to go. Lol, I must have a boring life.

Anyways, I recently tried out the L'Oreal Infallible 24-hour full coverage make-up. Now for starters,  I was completely taken back by the fact that it is a drug-store product and claims to last 24-hours. That in it self immediately made me want to try it!

If you know me or have read here before you know that I have realllyyyy oily, acne prone, sensitive skin. I still have large pores and some acne scarring, as well. I have always have terrible skin, unfortunately, and acne pretty much since I was 10, until I finally starting seeing a dermatologist at 17. Why did I wait so long?!

Because my skin is as is, I look for a 12-14 hour wear, super full coverage, matte foundation! So, naturally I snatched up this bad boy and ran to the Walgreens counter as soon as I got a hold to it.

Below I'll list and talk about several characteristics I noticed with the wear of the foundation that I liked/disliked!

1. Price: I bought it from Walgreens, which was listed for 12.99. I did some research and found that Target and Walmart had it listed for around 10.99, so paying a bit less there. I feel like the price point is pretty fair, and not too expensive for a drug-store foundation claiming to be full coverage and 24-hour wear.

2. Texture: It claims to have a 'weightless' feel and I would 100% agree. It almost has a 'fluffy' or 'airy' feel to it and feels light on the skin.

3. Coverage: Because I do have large pores and some acne scarring, I feel the need for a really full coverage foundation, that's just what I like! In my book, this has pretty full coverage and is buildable, which I love. I used my Sigma F80 brush to blend it and it works perfectly!

4. Matte or Dewy Finish: Definitely ends with a matte finish, which I also love because of my oily skin. It doesn't set too quickly, so you can finish your makeup without it being 'dry', but it does have a really pretty finish!

5. IS IT REALLY A 24-HOUR FOUNDATION?!: So the real question here is, does it really even last 24-hours?! In my opinion, no, definitely not. It is really hard to tell because my skin gets so oily so quick. But after wearing this for 6-8 hours, I was having to grab a tissue and blot my skin to remove the oil. At 10-12 hours of wear, it was flaky and patchy around my t-zone and cheeks, super greasy, and not at all what you would consider a 'fresh face' or matte finish lol.
Now if you don't have really oily skin like mine, I could see being able to wear this for 10-14 hours and still looking good!

Overall, I love having a drug-store foundation for sort of my 'everyday' makeup look. That way, I'm not using up a $40 foundation in 2 months, because uhhhh Brandilyn don't have time for that, haha. But I do think this is a good foundation to run errands, or get out of the house and wear, while still looking good!

I hope y'all enjoyed this new post! Let me know if you liked this and would want to see more posts that are similar!! Any feedback helps :)
